Who We Are

Kollab is a platform that connects content creators with businesses in Egypt. The party responsible for your data is the Kollab team, reachable at the email address listed at the end of this page.

Data We Collect

We only collect what we need to run the platform:

• Account data: name, email address, mobile number, governorate.
• Creator data: social accounts, follower counts, profile photos, and identity documents when you request verification.
• Activity data: applications you submit, content and reviews you publish, and photos you upload.
• Basic technical data: sign-in records needed to keep your account secure.

Instagram and Facebook Data

If you connect an Instagram or Facebook account to your Kollab account, we use platform permissions to obtain only limited data: your public username, profile picture, account type, follower count, and public post insights related to campaigns you take part in. We use this data solely to show your profile to partners and to measure campaign results. We never post on your behalf, never read your private messages, and never sell platform data or use it for advertising; we comply with the Meta Platform Terms. You can disconnect the account at any time from your profile page or from your Instagram settings, and we then delete the platform data associated with it.

How We Use Your Data

To operate your account, match you with suitable campaigns, allow a business partner to review your application, display content and reviews publicly without exposing your contact details, and send you updates about your applications.

What We Share With Partners

A business partner can only see data of applicants to their own campaign, and we do not show them your mobile number or email address. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Service Providers

We rely on service providers to run the platform: hosting, database and secure file storage, and an email service for notifications. They process data on our behalf and only under our instructions.

Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When an account is deleted we remove your personal data within 30 days, retaining only what we are legally required to keep.

Data Protection

Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure with row-level access permissions, and your profile can only be read by you and the partner linked to your application. Identity documents are held in private, non-public storage.

Your Rights

You can access and update your data at any time from your profile page, withdraw consent for connected social accounts, and request a copy of your data or its complete deletion.

Children

The platform is intended for people aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect children's data. If we receive a child's data we delete it immediately.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in, and we do not use advertising trackers.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and notify users of any material change.

Deleting Your Data

You can request deletion of your account and all your data, including any connected Instagram data, through our data deletion page.
